I have touched the pain area – facing difficulty to understand science subjects.
I convince parents that we know the subject – We teach science subjects that are super easy to understand – this sentence will win their trust that we know the subject well and are confident to make it easy for their child.
I have offered a solution – clear all doubts easily
How I will do it – with our concepts-focused learning
Now one more example of general tuition on a broad pain area of parents.
“Do you feel bad when signing the poor result sheets of your child? Our innovative coaching style will help you to proudly sign the improved result sheets from the next exams of your child.”
I have used a different strategy to write these sentences. I have used emotion-packed words.
What have I done?
Grabbed attention – Do you feel bad when signing the poor result sheet – no parent will be happy to sign the poor result sheets or average results – this will press hard on the parent’s emotion.
Offered value and ignite their curiosity – our innovative coaching style – these words are capable enough to let parents think more about your tuition classes.
You can try different emotions and solutions. Be creative but don’t overdo it. Please keep it simple and short.
Never write an advertisement that is self-certified and gives magical results or guarantees. Some of the worst and most common hyper advertisements are mentioned below.
“We are the best tuition classes for the science stream, and your child will get 100% results.”
“We have many years of experience teaching mathematics, and we guarantee the best results.”
Unless you are a reputed tuition class in your area, do these sentences make sense? Parents already know about their children’s capabilities. You don’t know about their child and offer a guarantee to achieve the best results!!
Also, do you have a certificate for calling yourself “Best tuition classes”? Who will be in second place if every tuition class is the best or number 1? How funny it is. Isn’t it?
Never commit to any result or give a guarantee as this might attract some dumb parents, and you will end up losing trust when you can’t deliver up to their expectations.
This article will help you stand out from the competition, and you should always be honest with what you tell people publicly.

We are human, and we all love free things. When we hear or see the words like “discount,” offer,” Free,” 90% off,” etc., we always seek more information and want to get benefits even if we do not really need those things.
This psychology works great in advertisement.
Your advertisement should focus immediately on the irresistible offer and why it may interest the person reading it.
Always try to add incentives in your advertisement for tuition classes. This strategy is very important and effective.
People usually ignore other weak points when they get something extra and free with the main product or service. In your case, if your competitors are not offering any incentive, you must include it in your advertisement.
Now you might think that what to offer as free? Think like, about how to attract parents to tuition classes.
There is no need to invest in any material if you can’t afford it. I don’t recommend any material that is considered a bribe.
You can offer value instead.

Now you have to add an incentive to this advertisement.
You can add something like,
Get one week of free coaching and check the improvement of your child.
Or even you can try this also.
Get up to a 50% discount for your second child when you enroll in our tuition classes.
What have I done here?
The first sentence is to get one week of free coaching and check your child’s improvement. I have given them the option to check the quality of tuition classes and, at the same time, indirectly told them that we are confident in improving their child.
Do these sentences sound great to you? If you, as a parent, can feel something good, all the parents reading this advertisement will definitely get connected just because of these incentives.
Similarly, you can do it for physical things also.
Now, our advertisement has parents’ pain or problems, your solution, and incentive.

The same fear reflects when we buy any products or services.
If you don’t add any scarcity or urgency into your advertisement for tuition classes, many parents will not take any action. Why? Because they will think that they can enrol their kids at any time in your tuition classes.
This habit is very common, and I hope you agree with me.
Always add something that forces parents to take immediate action. Add fear of losing something. And, please be honest with it. Creating a fake scarcity is not good. Parents will know soon and won’t trust you anymore.
For example, if you are open to only 20 students for the first batch, don’t allow more students. At least not for a month.
I am not telling you to lose the students, but this way, you can spread the message that you are very focused on quality rather than quantity.
You can consider those inquiries after a month or so, whatever you feel is right.
Are you clear?
Okay. I will add the same scarcity in our previous sample advertisement for tuition classes.
The previously revised advertisement was,
“We teach science subjects that are super easy to understand, and your child will not face difficulty understanding the subjects with our concepts-focused learning that will help them to perform better.
Get one week of free coaching and check the improvement of your child.”
Now I am adding urgency to this advertisement.
“Free coaching available only for the first 25 students.”
Or if you have any offer as a discount, you can add something like this,
“Offer is valid for first 25 students only” or “Offer is valid till (mention date not more than 15 days from the date of display of an advertisement.”
Or even this one,
“Registration ends on xx-yy-20xx (date), limited seats only”
The revised advertisement will be something like,
“We teach science subjects that are super easy to understand, and your child will not face difficulty understanding the subjects with our concepts-focused learning that will help them to perform better.
Get one week of free coaching and check the improvement of your child.
Free coaching is available only for the first 25 students.”
Don’t worry. This is not a FINAL advertisement. We have more amazing things to do in the next elements.
The next element is to add a call to action.
5) Add a clear call to action to let them reach you
What is a call to action?
The words that direct the reader to take some action. Few popular CTAs ( call to action ) for tuition class advertisement are,
- Call us today
- Visit us today
- Register now
- Enroll your kid today
- Book your free demo class today
All these words ask the reader to take action. If you don’t add CTAs to your advertisement, you are leaving the readers in the dark because they don’t know what to do next if they are interested in your tuition classes.

Always add your contact details clearly visible from a distance if the advertisement is in the form of a banner, poster, etc.
Avoid giving email IDs or addresses only.
If your contact number is not mentioned in the advertisement, all your efforts will be wasted. No one has enough time or patience to find your address or send an email and wait for your reply.
Always display your contact number in bigger and bolder letters.
Contact number and address are mandatory to include in the advertisement. Email doesn’t work. But if you have enough space, you can add it along with the contact number and address. You must include a website to let people know about your tuition classes in detail if you have a website.

6) Cut, edit, add power words & proofread
You have to add power words into your advertising and cut the unnecessary wording.
Why?
From our own experience of giving advertisement of our coaching class plenty of times, we get a high response when our advertisement was short and crisp.
People don’t love to read a sales letter, at least for tuition classes.
The longer form of text can’t grab attention and looks dull.
But, at the same time, you have to keep your advertisement interesting and attractive. Ultimately you want to persuade parents and get more students. Correct?
Just stay with me how I am cutting the unnecessary words and adding power words to our existing tuition class advertisement and make it more interesting, powerful, and attractive.
Our final revised advertisement will be like this,

- Add some visuals but don’t overdo them. Never use fancy symbols or logos in your tuition class advertisement.
- Keep visual and picture less than 20% as compared to textual content. Leave white space.
- Avoid adding a picture of any person in an advertisement except yours. And this is not a mandatory element to add and does not add value to your advertisement in print media.
- Use only two to three colors maximum and choose the color wisely. Colors have meaning, and if you choose the wrong colors, the advertisement will have different meanings.
